Ground Water Analysis

BBA developed and operated a MODFLOW ground water flow model using existing data sets and field observation data to simulate water level changes in the alluvial aquifer that may result from gravel mining and reclamation activities, including dewatering of the aquifer and the installation of a ground water barrier. The model results were used to support the client’s mining approval process with the Division of Reclamation and Mine Safety (DRMS).
