Between 1980 and 1983 the firms operated as a subsidiary of Engineering-Science, Inc. of Arcadia, California. The firm has also operated under the names of Bishop-Brogden and Rumph, Inc. and Bishop Associates, Inc. In 1983, the firm separated from Engineering-Science and became a Colorado Corporation wholly owned by its principals. In 1986, The David E. Fleming Company merged with Bishop-Brogden Associates, Inc.
