WATER RIGHTS & WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER

Bishop-Brogden Associates Inc. (BBA) is a small consulting firm (20 people) specializing in water rights, water resources and ground water hydrology. Located in Englewood , CO , BBA provides services to clients in the Western United States, mostly within the State of Colorado . BBA’s clients include a variety of public and private entities including municipalities, landowners, ranchers, local and federal governments, and others. BBA is an established firm and has been operating since 1980.

We are seeking applications for a position as a water rights and water resources engineer from applicants with the following skills and qualifications.

• Three to ten years experience in Colorado water resources or water rights engineering.
• BS or MS in water resources, civil, agricultural or environmental engineering, hydrogeology or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with database and spreadsheet software; GIS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge about and experience with Colorado water rights, water law and water administration.
• Registration as an EIT, PE or PG, or plans to pursue licensure as an engineer or geologist is preferred.
